How On-grid Solar Power System Works?

On-grid refers to a type of solar system that is connected to the local grid. This means that any excess electricity produced by the system can be sold back to the grid. Minimum and Maximum Load Permitted Bangladesh Government Regulations for Solar Power

Residential Load:
Any load connection or expansion request above 2KW, 3% of Total load from Solar Energy is mandatory.

Commercial & Industrial Load:
Any load connection or expansion request below 50KW, 7% of light & fan load from Solar Energy is mandatory.

Any load connection or expansion request above 50KW, 10% of light & fan load from Solar Energy is mandatory.

For Textile Industries: 7% of light & fan load from Solar.

However, no more than 70% of the total sanctioned load cannot be covered by Solar Energy to be eligible for net metering.
